Yes. When you order multiple metres of any cut-to-length product (hessian, calico, webbing, wadding and so on), we cut it as one continuous length unless you ask us otherwise. If you need it cut into specific pieces, just add a note at checkout or give us a ring.

We stock most of what's listed online, but if something is temporarily unavailable we can usually have it back within 2–3 working days. Contact us and we'll confirm timing for the specific item — in many cases you can still place your order and we'll dispatch as soon as it arrives.

UK delivery is free on orders over £100. Below that, Standard delivery is £4.99. Express delivery is £7.99 for orders up to 30kg; heavier Express orders (over 30kg) are £50 due to courier costs.

We dispatch quickly — in-stock orders placed before 12 noon (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same working day; orders after noon go out the next working day, and many customers receive their order within 1–2 days of ordering. Express orders are prioritised.

Yes, we deliver UK-wide. Some Highland and Island postcodes carry a delivery surcharge on heavier items due to carrier costs — this is calculated at checkout, or contact us for a quote before ordering.

Yes — but by request only at the moment. Email sales@upholstery-supplies.co.uk with your address and the items you'd like, and we'll quote you a delivery price via Royal Mail International Tracked before you order.

If you've changed your mind, you can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Please contact us first so we can expect your return. Note that fabric, webbing and other materials cut to length for your order are made to your specification and can't be returned unless faulty.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll put it right straight away with a replacement or refund — whichever you prefer.

We operate from the Black Barn in rural Wiltshire, where we've been supplying trade-quality upholstery materials for over 13 years. We're part of the same family as Black Barn Sofas, a traditional upholstery workshop trading since 1988 — so the materials we sell are the same ones used in a working professional workshop.
