Replaced a spring on old Parker Knoll lounge chair that had snapped. I had to slightly widen the hooks on end of spring with narrow pliers but no big deal. Always get a spring slightly narrower than the gap so there's tension. Also replaced the fabric underneath seat cushion over springs that stops it slipping. Both items good quality, bought some more springs just in case!
I haven't been able to fit the springs as unlike previous ones I can't get these into the slot in the chair. It looks as I've got to find a way of taking a little bit off each end. Tricky.
Excellent quality and, with a little muscle and technique, simple to fit
